Welcome

Welcome to our new website and to the start of this blog!

This will be a place where we can talk about adoption, ask questions, provide support, and sometimes do silly stuff like vote for who should win things like “Dancing with the Stars” and other reality shows!

I invite anyone to write in with your thoughts, concerns, questions. If you are a birthmother who has placed a child for adoption before, maybe you have some words of wisdom for those considering that option. If you just found out you are pregnant and are terrified about what to do next, maybe you could share your fears and the rest of us will be here to support you.

And if you’re all shy and quiet, I guess I’ll just have to post my own thoughts - which will get boring pretty quick!! So I hope you all write!

Hi Sharon and any birth moms out there who have placed or are considering that option first and foremost a fetus is a baby and for all that have made the decision to give life congratulations to you and for those of you considering the other option I just want you to know Ive been there in your shoes pregnant and scared Ive consisdered the other option but decided even though it sounds like and easier quicker option in the long run its not I decided I didnt want to live with that guilt instead I decided to give my precious baby life casue lets face they are all precious right up to conseption and they all deserve a chance to thrive and grow and there are so many people out there who want o be parents and just cant have them physically and as much as you would like to raise your own shild I know fisrt hand that sometimes the timing is just not right or in my current situation just cant afford to have another child cause you see i have four shilf already and just dont have the finacial atability of raisin another child and Im not gonna lie its hard VERY hard but at least I can lay down eveery night and know that i gave my children a fighting chance.
Let me tell you a littlw about my journey with adaoption bcause i fit both catagories i talked about earlier for example
when I was 19 I had a child and the timing was so not right so I contemplated abortion Im not gonna lie but I decided that would not happen so I chose a family and they are wonderful he id now 6 years old and beautiful and i know that i gave him that chance to become just what he is today.
Now present time I hust had a baby in May and I couldnt afford to keep him so i contacted Sharon who by the way is wonderful and started looking at families to be honest I was likin anyone but then I saw Jim and Jen and i like d them but wanted to keep my options open so continued to look but all my serching led right back to them adn I couldnt have picked a better couple they are everything I wanted in a mom and dad for my child so i contacted Sharon and she told them and let me tell it is the most gratifying thing to know you made the decsion of life and the hapiness you bring the family you choose it is a very warm and rewarding feeling casue you r chile had a chance and you have just made someones dream come true.
but anyways if I dont stop typing illneed my own website to fit it all but I just want you all toknow that Adoption is life and only you can make that decision I hope you read this and it helps you make the right decision

Thanks Sharon
